2000 年，哈伯纳斯公司推出了限量版 ( Edición Limitada ) 系列。该系列包括目前未生产的雪茄规格。
最初，雪茄使用来自工厂上层的两年陈化包装纸制作，以产生独特的深色。自 2007 年以来，所有烟草（包装纸、粘合剂和填充物）都经过两年陈化。
该计划实施初期，每年都会推出四五款不同的限量版雪茄。2002 年没有推出限量版，可能是因为 2001 年雪茄发布较晚，而且缺少合适的两年包装烟草，而 Habanos SA 可能低估了限量版概念的成功。自 2005 年以来，大多数年份都会推出三款雪茄（少数例外）。
限量版雪茄通常有两条标带：一条是品牌的标准生产标带，另一条是金底黑色标带，上面印有“Edición Limitada”字样和发行年份。2000 年发行的标带上没有日期。

About these cigars: Following the successful global launch of the 2024 Habanos Limited Edition Trinidad Cabildos Premier pack during Habanos World Days in London earlier this year, we are delighted to now offer the Trinidad Cabildos in the more traditional format of 12 cigars presented in very stylish slide lid wooden boxes.
These much-lauded cigars were unveiled in this format during an event in Doha, Qatar earlier this month. The UK is the first country outside this market to offer these illustrious cigars in this presentation.
The Trinidad Cabildos are presented in two rows of six cigars and, as with the Premier Pack, each cigar will have a foot-band that contains an NFC authentication chip. Known as an Ilustres in the factories of Cuba, this unique size measures 6⅜″ (162mm) x 46 ring gauge and has been made using the classic, approachable medium-bodied Trinidad blend.
It is the fourth Edición Limitada from the brand, following the Ingenios (2007), Short Robusto T (2010) and Topes (2016). These cigars have all been made totally by hand using long filler leaves, all sourced from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba and aged for a minimum of two years
