An official Bruichladdich vintage distilled in 1970 and bottled in September 2002 after extended maturation in first-fill American oak. Released at 44.2% ABV in an edition of 4,200 bottles, without chill filtration or added colouring.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Light and elegant, with melon, guava, apple and ripe gooseberry.
Palate: Elegant green-fruit character with melon skin, peach, yellow plum and honeydew, alongside delicate blue-green tea.
Finish: Medium-long, continuing the same delicate green-fruit and tea character.
