About this brand: Herman Upmann was a banker who loved cigars and from Germany he moved to Havana in 1844 and set up as both banker and cigar maker. In 1920’s his bank closed but his cigars live on as example of an elegant and light to medium flavour Habano. H. Upmann blend is composed from filler and binder of the Vuelta Abajo zone. Among the best known H. Upmann sizes are the Magnum 46 and the Magnum 50 introduced in 2008. Important also to include are Sir Winston, the Connoisseur No.1 and smaller vitolas such as Corona Junior and Half Corona introduced in 2011.
