About this cigar: Juan Lopez might be one of the lesser-known Cuban brands in production, but the Selección No. 2 is one of the best robustos from Cuba we smoked all year. Juan Lopez has enough of a following to justify its existence, but as Habanos seems to concentrate more on its larger, global brands, one can’t help but wonder about the future of tasty gems like this that blossom with notes of dried fruit, roasted chestnuts and salted caramel.
