About this humidor: To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Phoenicia Trading, the company released five limited lines and a numbered series of humidors containing 40 cigars each and accompanied by a matching ashtray and lighter set. They are designed by master craftsman Jean-Philippe Martin, who designed the previous Cohiba 50 and Cohiba Behike 40 anniversary humidors, and are produced by one of the most coveted humidor and accessory producers in the world, Elie Bleu of France. Of the five lines, four have a production of 100 humidors each and are called Phoenicians, Mediterranean, Volutes, and Horizon.
The Phoenicians’ sailing adventures throughout the beautiful Mediterranean Sea is signified on this humidor by its striking blue colour. These legendary seafarers mastered the seas to become illustrious traders of the Mediterranean and beyond. Vast open waters bent at the passage of any Phoenician ship are elegantly featured at the centre of the lid. On either side of the lid, over the black inlaid border, stands the figure of a Phoenician man to represent the ancient civilisation. The Herculean columns, adorned in the Ramon Allones colour, remind of the narrow strait of sea that one would need to tread to sail to Cuba in search of the sought-after cargo of rolled tobacco.
These Phoenicios Cigars of a Sublimes format (164mm X 54 Ring Gauge) have been specially blended and rolled at the Partagas factory with leaves from the highest quality tobacco of Vuelta Abajo Region D.O.P.
The Phoenicians humidor contains 40 Ramon Allones Phoenicio 40. It has, as perfect accompaniments, a limited ashtray of refined French porcelain and a lighter.
