About This Cigar

José L. Piedra

A true Cuban classic, José L. Piedra cigars stand out for their exceptional value and rich history. Made exclusively from Remedios region tobaccos, these cigars are crafted using the 'tripa corta, totalmente a mano' technique—short filler, totally handmade—offering an authentic Cuban smoking experience at an accessible price.

Founded by the Piedra family in the late 19th century, this brand honors José Lamadrid Piedra, who played a key role in its development. The cigars are known for their smooth draw, sweet undertones, and well-balanced strength, making them a great choice for both seasoned smokers and those new to Cuban cigars.
