La Gloria Cubana Britanicas Extra, the UK's long-awaited and delayed 2017 Regional Edition, comes in a very rare size and shape. Measuring 5 3/8" (137mm) by 48 ring gauge, the size is known as Britanicas Extra in Cuba's factories. It is figurado (perfecto), which means the sides of the cigar are not parallel, but it's not a double-figurado like the Partagas Solomones or most of the Cuaba's vitolas because the mouth-end has a round, as opposed to pointed, head.
Such a rare and unusual shape is not easy to make. The cigar roller needs to possess an exceptional skill to handcraft each cigar, which will deliver a consistent blend throughout and a good draw from start to finish.
La Gloria Cubana Bitanicas Extra are presented in numbered Slide Lid Boxes (SLD) of ten cigars.
6000 boxes have been produced exclusively for UK market.
The cigar consist combination of floral, sweet fruity flavours with a mild earthy tobacco taste.
